ATPAC E-Team Contributions is recognized by IPEP

Ms. Sureerut (Anne) Kochaon, ATPAC Environmental Team (E-Team) Chairperson, has been selected to receive the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP) 2009 Annual Award in the category of International Collaboration and Cooperation. IPEP held its 2009 Annual Award Program on Thursday, June 18 at The Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA), Detroit, Michigan.

IPEP is a not-for-profit, professional organization that aims to improve the practice and educational standards of environmental professionals and to administer the Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Environmental Professional Intern (EPI), examination, and certification process. The Institute is governed by a Board of Trustees and conducts business in accordance with the Board's adopted Bylaws and Policies & Procedures for Certification.

Anne is currently the Project Manager (Environmental) at Parsons, Pasadena, California. She is a QEP credential holder who belong to a group of highly skilled environmental professionals. She is also an active member of ATPAC since its inception. Anne and E-Team members have dedicated their times to conduct many technical workshops for universities and government agencies in Thailand in order to help improving environmental quality of Thailand. Her article about the work of E-Team and ATPAC will be published in IPEP’s August newsletter and A&WMA's November journal.
